No consulting fees are charged to clients. ToAction is strictly a Pro Bono service, allowing clients to benefit from volunteer gifts of time, talents and resources. Consulting services and client obligations are presented to clients in a simple, common sense agreement. Following agreement, an professional evaluation identifies significant impact areas. Priority is given to the time and resources required.Methods
To be truly effective, a consulting specialist must work as a partner and coach to the governing body, president, CEO, board, etc. He is not a manager, producer, not a player on the team, and not an employee. The governing body, president, CEO, board, etc. must champion volunteer engagement throughout the organization. The specialist must be empowered as well to authorize the responsibility and accountability for strategic progress at all appropriate levels. The process must become internalized, providing maximum productive activity. In this way the staff and volunteers, learn and buy-into a more efficient system. You cannot demand change from others. This leads to compliance, not commitment. Professional coaching is in the best interests of your organization. Gaining an individual’s cooperation creates lasting success.
