Process

Upon first contact you can quickly determined whether our services are worth your consideration. If so, we both share essential information and then schedule a second call to discuss details and services. If agreed upon, an on-site evaluation is scheduled, followed by a professional assessment of areas where significant impact and value can be implemented. Aside from the evaluation fee and travel costs, you are under no further financial obligation. We understand that many consultants choose to perform extensive on-site sales visits instead of a reliable evaluation, that’s not us. We believe that a partnership should not be taken on lightly and either party should be able to bow out gracefully after having a professional assessment with no pressure. If further services are preferred, regular on-site visits will be essential in shaping structural and operational systems to significantly impact your ministry, leadership, staff and volunteers.

Methods

To be truly effective, a consulting specialist must work as a partner and coach to the governing body, president, CEO, board, etc. He is not a manager, producer, not a player on the team, and not an employee. The governing body, president, CEO, board, etc. must champion volunteer engagement throughout the organization. The specialist must be empowered as well to authorize the responsibility and accountability for strategic progress at all appropriate levels. The process must become internalized, providing maximum productive activity. In this way the staff and volunteers, learn and buy-into a more efficient system. You cannot demand change from others. This leads to compliance, not commitment. Professional coaching is in the best interests of your organization. Gaining an individual’s cooperation creates lasting success. Implementing structural and operational enhancements without long-term accountability invites failure. Continued matrix measurements and accountability are critical. A service retainer at a nominal cost is advisable in order to monitor and adjust as appropriate. Guarantee We guarantee the effectiveness of our services and hold ourselves accountable to the highest ethical standards of integrity, transparency, hard work and humility. If ToAction services are implemented, but objectives are not being met, ToAction will continue to work on the project at no additional fee beyond expense reimbursement until we concur that our objectives have been achieved. Failing that, ToAction does offer a cancellation policy.
